i sit on the ferris wheel waiting for your dove to rest on my shoulder, as the glowing neon lights spun, and spun and spun; but instead a raven landed on my shoulder dropping off a bloodied letter and swooping away. your blood was all over your words your beautiful words, perfectly lettered handwriting. then i realized you cried tears tears of crimson because i left. but i didn't ever want to. i was dragged away by my wings.

you were the stars in the night sky and you were what made my heart flutter. your laugh, your smile, your beautiful eyes and your sweet voice. every night when i look up at midnight blue, i think of you. you are my star, my clear night sky, my glowing star. you are blue, blue, blue, in a world of black and gray. you are a graceful blue; not only blue but white too, pure, bright, twinkling; unlike the darkness that shadowed the sky. in my weaved pathways of black i think of you, in the forests of shadows i think of you, and you will appear right in front of my eyes, your bright existence will guide my way. you are my motivation, my goal
